KCIA with support from AHF held a three-day training for peer educators focusing on addressing reproductive health rights and HIV issues, as well as mental health concerns among pregnant and breastfeeding adolescents and young people aged 15-24 and 15 peer educators were trained. The primary objective of this training was to provide peer educators with comprehensive information on mental health and reproductive health/HIV, which will enable them to carry out effective awareness initiatives in both community and healthcare settings. The training successfully empowered peer educators to disseminate accurate and up-to-date information about mental health and reproductive health/HIV.
